Recording studio . . .

I don’t know if this will be the place where I record the entire Prequel to Biome NE47, or not, but this is where I’ve just finished ‘Take 2’ of the first scene, for publishing to the Portfolio page.

It’s rather primitive! I’ve arranged some insulation material around a fire guard that sits rather neatly on top of my workbench, and my anti-plosive shield is a strategically-placed flyswatter with additional nylon mesh … oddly enough, it seems to work! Garageband 10.4.2 on my MacBookPro laptop, and a Blue Yeti microphone, along with recording headphones which I find much more useful than I thought I would. And then, after achieving what I hope are appropriate settings for ACX studios, thanks to Rob Dircks’ kind blog entries, and working just a little bit on my reading and microphone technique, I feel as if I’m ready to rock and roll into the rest of the Prequel.

Now I just have to finish writing it!
