Getting the eBug today

This morning I thought I’d re-configure the cover that I put together for the first drafts of Biome NE47. The simple slab of an eBook cover needs to be dynamic, exciting, attractive and compelling. The browser must really need to look closer.

I’m very optimistic about the cover, but after compiling it together with the text, I saw that there was a truckload of re-jigging to be done to get the interactive menu working. By the end of the afternoon I’d done it!

For now, however, the cover is a closely guarded secret. Got to build a little suspense, after all. I hope to launch Biome NE47 itself, the main volume, the heart of the series, sometime in the summer.

First come the Fragments, the taster, and then the launch of Prequel with its attendant promotions strategy. The editing, on hold today while I played with eBook things, is still to finish.
