It’s finally here! The first of May seemed like an auspicious day to launch the series of Biome NE47 novels. That heady sense of spring, in between the lambing storms, the random hail and brilliant sunshine.
This week has seen rather a lot of poetry coming off my keyboard. Perhaps that’s a displacement activity from the worry over this launch weekend. I can’t think about the repercussions. Perhaps there won’t be any interest at all! Perhaps I’ll be pilloried for daring to imagine fictional scenarios that encompass this patch.
Whatever transpires, I must endeavour to remember how much fun it’s been creating the stories that have brought us to this moment. And hope that some readers might be intrigued enough by the taster offered free today, ‘Fragments of a Song’ to want to read more, to read the whole Prequel, when it’s launched in its entirety. The delightful thing about this promotions strategy is that subscribers who do download the free ‘Fragments’ will have first crack at the Prequel eBook, a full-length novel.
That launch is scheduled for the 1st of June, and will involve rather a lot of effort managing the upload, category lists and associated paraphernalia on the Amazon/Kindle platforms. Amongst recruiting reviews from unbiased reviewers. Should keep me busy!
