The journey continues . . .

Increment by increment, inch by inch, the odyssey moves along. Today I’ve sent the main event, Biome NE47: A Novel, along to Amazon for pre-publishing. It’s live now for pre-orders, which gives me about two weeks to facilitate any final last-minute editing changes before it’s actually published.

I’ve made so many changes to the original draft that I probably can’t face going back into it on my own bat. Rather, I’ll need friendly persuasion by the corps of beta readers who I hope to recruit locally and also through BookSprout auspices. I’m eager for feedback, but at the same time itching to get on with Sequel. I really want to get this merchandising lark out of my hair!

Now that Sequel is getting on for about 10k words, I so want to see where the characters are going, what challenges are going to be facing them, and how they’ll cope. It’s an interactive process, for sure.

But meanwhile, heavy gardening and normal weekend chores beckon, so I’d best leave the writing and exercise my reluctant body!
