Oh no, a miscalculation . ..

It’s not the NaNoWriMo challenge, it’s worse. I’ve made a few proposals of some novels I hope to write, but I didn’t realise the first 50 pages (of each proposal!) had to be ready for the 14th September. That means I’ll have to get my skates on to achieve any kind of writing target, and so I don’t expect to offer much to this little blog in the interim. Sometime after the 14th, perhaps an update. If none of my ideas achieve the longlist selection, then I’m off the hook, but for now and until the deadline, I’d be a silly fool not to give it my best shot. If only I had some inkling which of the three proposals I submitted might be the best chance! But I don’t.

So, for now, and the next fortnight, it’s head down and putting words through the keyboard, and no self-assessment or kibitzing on the blog.

Cheerio th’noo!
